Il concetto di ebook è completamente opposto a quello di libro cartaceo!

Chi compra un ebook, compra una soluzione, come hai giustamente detto.

Chi compra un libro, compra delle ore felici a leggerlo, compra la storia, compra l’emozione di perderci ore ed ore a leggerlo prima di andare a dormire…

insomma, sono due cose diverse, anche se scommetto che lo sapevi già…

concordo in pieno con il tuo articolo.

Per ciò che concerne la differenza tra ebook e libro cartaceo, non credo che ci sia tutta questa differenza, anzi molti autori di ebook hanno "cavalcato l’onda" scrivendo guide contenente le stesse informazioni dei cartacei.

In questo caso di nuovo c’era solo il formato ma non i contenuti, anzi spesso questi semplicemente scopiazzati dai libri.

Comunque di libri pratici che offrono soluzioni ce ne sono moltissimi, anche per il settore Web (per rispondere a Josè).

Per concludere, quoto in pieno l’argomento del tuo post e sulla praticità dei prodotti.

certo i VIDEO e i WEBINAR sono al momento gli strumenti più appetiti nel mercato del web-marketing rispetto agli eBooks ma se uno, come me, non ha l’ADSL a casa nel 2009 (ci credi??) che fa??

Comunque in ITALIA il MKT degli eBooks è ancora molto debole: gli Italiani, campioni del mondo in fatto di CELLULARI, SMS e MMS, usano poco e male il PC (i giovani lo usano soprattutto per scaricare musica in formato MP3 da mettere poi nell’iPod), leggono poco  e quei pochi che hanno voglia o interesse a leggere qualcosa preferiscono i vecchi libri cartacei agli eBooks, forse perché, studenti universitari a parte, la maggioranza degli ITALIANI è composta da pensionati o comunque da persone anziane che, a prescindere dal titolo di studio posseduto,  tutto hanno interesse a fare meno che imparare ad usare il PC e a navigare su INTERNET (vi è da questo punto di vista una sorta di "ANSIA da NUOVE TECNOLOGIE").

 Questo dicono i dati! Se poi a tutto ciò aggiungi il problema del DIGITAL DIVIDE non rimane altro da fare che emigrare (almeno per chi può…LOL!!).

Questa è l’amara realtà dei fatti: molti avevano previsto, con l’avvento di INTERNET e delle nuove tecnologie, la scomparsa dei libri tradizionali a favore degli eBooks ma io penso che ciò difficilmente potrà avverarsi, specie in Italia ma non solo!!

All’estero, e in particolare in US e UK, la situazione è ben diversa, come ben saprai !

E anche il COPYWRITING da noi è per pochi intimi per i motivi mentioned above e tutto lascia supporre che non vi siano gossi cambiamenti in vista almeno nel breve-medio periodo (idem per le affiliazioni)!!

Negli STATES molti hanno trovato lavoro come FREELANCE scrivendo eBooks o facendo il COPYWRITER per aziende e/magazines vari facendo anche un discreto gruzzolo di soldi, cosa purtroppo impensabile da noi…oppure a te risulta che la situazione da noi sia più rosea?

Come avrai intuito io vedo nero da questo punto di vista…LOL!!

Si, grazie Oliver per il post, concordo in pieno. La frenesia e la ristrettezza di tempo libero nell’epoca moderna, unito alla mancanza di grande iniziativa e perseveranza, fa si che l’ebook o lo strumento informativo di pagine ridotte ma preziose, sia preferito dalla maggior parte delle persone. Forse per cultura ci hanno indottrinato a sorbirci una mole di materiale scolastico di inutili pagine noiose, solo per poter dire che quel libro è buono perchè ha 400 pagine o 600, come se il cervello umano fosse più contento a possedere un manualone perchè convinto che sia più utile e pieno di contenuto. Ma bisogna vedere cosa si intende per contenuto e per informazione preziosa applicabile. Sono 2 cose diverse. Solo una piccolissima percentuale di libri possiede informazioni applicabile e preziose anche su 300 pagine. Ma stiamo parlando di una minoranza esigua. In ogni caso un ebook è preferibile e più adattabile ai tempi d’oggi; non inquina, il consumo energetico per realizzarlo è fattibile, non bisogna depredare alberi e con le nuove tecnologie di lettura ebook è sicuramente più usufruibile. Se poi il tutto viene concentrato in 30 pagine di assoluta concretezza e applicabilità del contenuto, allora tutto diventa più facile. A risentirci. Ciao!!

Nonostante le tecniche descritte possano essere le migliori del mondo in queste pagine, le persone(almeno nel mercato on line italiano) hanno una tendenza a pensare di essere stati fregati negli acquisti fatti on line, non tutti ,ma la maggioranza delle persone, non hanno ancora fiducia di questo fantastico strumento che è la rete, perciò ritrovandosi 20 pagine dopo aver speso 97 dollari penso che molte ci siano rimaste davvero male…
